Description
Batch No. 1 is the M1941 Arctic Field Jacket. Made with a 100% cotton twill outer and a 100% wool lining, it's a faithful copy of the original garment issued by the US military to troops in World War 2.
This edition is strictly limited to 531 jackets and after these sell out, we won't make this jacket again.
Each garment is hand numbered #001 to #531 and personally signed by historian and Avre co-founder James Holland.

To help you choose the correct size, please see the size guide. We strongly suggest comparing the product measurements to a similar jacket you already own, as our sizing may differ from other brands you’re used to.Â
Batch No. 1 is a classic fit which allows for mid weight layers underneath. It fits true to size. If you prefer a more relaxed fit to allow for heavier layers underneath take a size up.
Our model, Mr. Ben Willbond, is 6'0" (182cm) with a 34/36" waist, takes a 41" UK chest size and is wearing a Size 4 (M). He's wearing lightweight layers underneath.
