Avre Friday Briefing #10
Batch #1 closing at 08:00 BST on 28th April
Firstly a huge thank you to all the support we’ve received over the last few weeks and since we went live on the 17th. The whole process has been a journey, both learning about the incredible stories behind the M1941 and also about the process of creating, marketing and launching a product in today’s market. To cut through the noise, in even a modest way, has taken a great deal of time and effort and we’re grateful to everyone who has helped us out along the way.
What the M1941 means to us is that we’re now able to continue; to create garments that keep the stories of those who served before us alive and that are made with care and attention to last a lifetime. We’ve already started planning Batch #2, which needless to say we’re super excited about and which we can’t wait to share!
Last Chance
In the meantime as we still have some of the 531 allocation left, Batch #1 will remain open until 08:00 BST on Monday 28th April. So if you’re on the fence, this weekend is really your last chance to grab one from our inaugural batch. After Monday morning we won't be making this jacket again.
Jack Carr
This week we were also pleased to welcome Jack Carr into the Avre fold. Jack is a writer and ex. US Navy SEAL. His debut novel The Terminal List was picked up by Amazon and stars Chris Pratt. We received some lovely feedback from Jack and his team and we think the Arctic looks great on him!
