We Have Ways Fest 2026
What a great weekend at We Have Ways Fest 2026! It was great meeting everyone who came by the stand to chat and try on our jackets and it was also a pleasure to see so many of you wearing Avre jackets around the site.
Batch No. 4
We had Batch No. 4, the new Battledress Blouse on display which Jim and Al were wearing onstage and around the site on Friday. Lined with authentic Allied parachute silk and made bespoke to order.
We were also excited to be able to deliver the first three Battledresses to customers at the show. If you've ordered a Battledress, it's in production and we'll be in touch soon regarding delivery.
Batch No. 5
We also had the new Batch No. 5 on show, the Avre Windak - our version of the famous Windak smock. Again Jim and Al were modelling the prototypes throughout the weekend, as were Pete and Monty.
Camo
The camo you can see here, that used for the prototypes was a stand-in and not the pattern we will use for final product. We've had the original camo digitised (see below) and are currently having it printed onto a tight weave 220gsm gabardine cotton. It'll then be coated with a light wax finish to give it the weatherproof properties of the original.
So the jackets you can see in these pictures are prototypes to demonstrate the cut, fit and trims. The camo pattern we'll use in the final versions will be softer and more muted as you can see below:

Limited Pre-Orders open now
The official release of the Windak will be in November, however, we have a very limited amount of pre-orders left which will be fulfilled in December or early January. Let us know if you'd like to secure one now.
Batch No. 2
Batch No. 2, the 1941 British Denim Smock again proved popular at the show. We took the last few garments which eventually all sold except one final piece - an Original in size 4 (Medium), no. 101/1805 - available now.
